Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your participation in the invited BetterFlip beta. By creating an account or using BetterFlip, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and beta access
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms. Beta access is personal, limited to invited participants, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
What BetterFlip provides
BetterFlip provides financial information, organization tools, and behavioral insights intended to help you understand your finances and gambling-related activity. BetterFlip does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, gambling, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your financial and gambling decisions.
Connected accounts and third-party services
If you connect an account, you authorize BetterFlip and its service providers to retrieve and process account balances and transaction history as described in the Privacy Policy. Your use of third-party services, including Plaid and linked financial institutions, may also be governed by their terms.
Language-model output
Transaction categorization, insights, and Omega responses may be generated with language models. This output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You must independently verify information before acting on it. BetterFlip makes no warranty about the accuracy or availability of language-model output.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use BetterFlip for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activity;
- attempt to access another person's account or data;
- interfere with, reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the service or its security;
- upload malicious code or misuse automated access; or
- represent BetterFlip output as professional advice or a guarantee of financial or gambling outcomes.
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify support@betterflip.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Feedback
You may provide product feedback during the beta. You grant BetterFlip permission to use that feedback to evaluate and improve the service without compensation or attribution. This does not transfer ownership of your personal data.
Suspension and termination
You may leave the beta at any time by contacting support@betterflip.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for users or the service, or if the beta changes or ends. Data removal requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Beta availability and disclaimers
BetterFlip is experimental and may be unavailable, delayed, changed, reset, or discontinued. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetterFlip and its officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the beta will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid BetterFlip in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the beta changes. We will communicate material changes to cohort members by email. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms means you accept them.
